2006 Western Music Association Due of the Year, Belinda Gail and Curly Musgrave, are coming back to Cottonwood Falls for September 28, 2007 concert

The duo bring energy, enthusiasm and versatility to their performances, which include dynamic arrangements of original and traditional Western music as well as Gospel and Traditional Country Songs. In addition, the pair are talented yodelers and routinely bring their audiences to their feet with performances of songs that run the gamut of emotions from tears to hilarity.

"I'm so pleased to bring Belinda and Curly back to perform here in Chase County," said Suzan Barnes of the Grand Central Hotel and Grill. "This is an opportunity to hear a world-class performance."

Gail was honored by the Western Music Association as Female Performer of the Year in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002, and again in 2005, and was named Female Vocalist of the Year in 1999 and 2004. Other awards and nominations validate her energy and appeal as a performer, and her nickname of "America's Western Sweetheart."

Musgrave, WMA Male Performer of the Year and Songwriter of the Year in 2002 and 2003 was also Songwriter of the Year in 2004. He was also honored with the Academy of Western Artists Will Rogers award in 2003 as Male Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.

Gail and Musgrave will perform at 8 p.m. on Sept. 28 at the Community Building in Cottonwood Falls. Tickets are $8 per person; $15 per couple. For reservations or information, contact Suzan Barnes at 620-273-6763.
